Holidays? Bah Humbug!

Wow, so Thanksgiving day was last week..

And I still can't believe Halloween has passed as well. Last year we missed out on a Halloween Party at our house and I was totally bummed.

Like Totally.

So bummed out, I even started a count down for Halloween 2012. I had some serious plans for All Hallow's eve: craft supplies were purchased, list were made, haunted castle tours booked.  Then October rolled in and I was quite literally exhausted. Tired with a capital T.

New Beginnings

In September, I was offered a role working within the Social Media department of the company I work for. I was very excited about my new role, not only is it challenging but I am able to really get down and dirty with my creative side.

My hours have changed to a rolling shift, where I work three 12 hour shifts and then off for three days. It sounds good on paper, but I have to say I am missing my Aedan, it honestly feels like I do not see the kid for three days straight.

Should I complain? No. I am very thankful for having a job in this uncertain economical climate. But boy am I tired. The big item on my to do list is to learn how to successfully  juggle home time, work time, mommy time and blog time.  Anyone know the secret?

Blog time?

Ah my poor neglected blog. It is sad to say but weekly posts have been a thing of the past. Sad but true.  Should I will give up?

Negative.

Goonies never say die. Especially as this Goonie has counted only 27 days left to the man in red makes an appearance.  Twenty seven days, say what?!

I can't wait to start making crafts, wrapping gifts, over indulging in all things chocolate (this is fairly high on the list), decorating the house, listen to the BublĂ© belt out all the wonderful Christmas carols. Yeah.. it is official. I am ready for Christmas.

If only I could have off the whole month of December....

I guess the answer is to do what you can and not worry about the rest. Whenever you have time to post, I'm happy to read it! Congrats on the new position!
